SONGS OUT OF THE BOX

Your experiences are personal and so are your responses or reactions to them. When
these reflect in your style, it exhibits your journey and displays genuineness
and originality.

When writing songs, be totally honest. Write and sing what you have experienced or what you desire to experience.
You’ll do that with more precision and passion than simply taking
great words and phrases from other people’s songs and putting them in yours.
It’s always more believable, believe me.

By your heart, I mean your attitude, intentions and motives in your dealings with God and Man.
Just as secular jobs and professions have a dress code, so we as called ministers (Christians) need to be clothed in a certain way.Col 3:12-15. To be effective in ministry, you must ‘wear’ the character of Christ, keeping in mind that the most important encounter in ministry is not people’s encounter with you, but their encounter with Jesus. You are simply called to set up that encounter.
