The Question of Capacity

Often times than nought, we make a prayer which has become a cliché in Christendom, “Father enlarge my capacity”. And after weeks of praying that singular line, there seems to be no change. Permit me to draw your mind to something you may have been missing;

A body builder first starts from lifting say, 15kg weight for some days, and later 25kg and there about, until he can lift a mass of 300kg months later, without breaking a sweat.

This means, before you can have the capacity to carry 50kg, you need to constantly exercise your capacity to carry 5kg.

The Kingdom Principle of multiplication and enlargement of Capacity lies in that singular act of “…being faithful in little.” Luke 19:17.

Hence,

“Capacity is ever enlarged void of constant positive engaging”. (W.N. Vincent)

– How can your capacity to stay with God in prayer and fellowship for two (2) hours be enlarged if you don’t first, stay for the fifteen (15) minutes your current capacity can take you?

– How can you be a better Musician if you don’t FIRST, engage the voice or skill you have in deliberate practice and rehearsals?

Friend, God is a just Judge. He set that natural process for multiplication in Adam, from the start, Gen 4:1-2.

When you have engaged what you currently have, FAITHFULLY, He’ll sure enlarge your capacity to do more.

You want to lead Five hundred (500) people in your ministry? Faithfully lead the Five (5) people God has placed under your care.

You can’t pray in the Holy ghost for ten (10) minutes? Keep engaging for the five (5) minutes you’ve been doing. You won’t know when your engine will run for 30 minutes!

There are somethings you won’t spend so much time praying about if only you engage what you currently have!

Your enlargement is around the corner!
